Gig & Band Manager — last updated September 2026
Gig & Band Manager is a small scheduling tool built for a local group of bands and venues to coordinate rehearsals, shows, and availability. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's handled. It's written in plain language rather than dense legal text, since this app is run by one person for a small, invited group of users, not a company processing data at scale.
Depending on how you use the app, we collect:
We don't collect payment information, government ID numbers, or location data beyond what's manually typed into a venue's address field by a user.
All of the information above exists to run the app's core purpose: showing you and your bandmates who's playing where, when, and who's available. We use your email to send notifications about events, invites, and schedule changes (which you can turn off individually in the app's Me tab), and to let you sign in.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with marketers.
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, strictly to run the app:
Within the app itself, information is visible according to each band's own membership and the permissions built into the app (for example, a private venue's address is only shown to people with an actual reason to see it — see the app for specifics). We don't have a public directory or public-facing pages that expose your information.
Your information is kept for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and associated data removed, contact us at the email below and we'll take care of it.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
